We are delighted to welcome Sylvia Maramis back to our list.
Sylvia was admitted in 1991 having graduated from Monash University with a B.A. / L.L.B. She has recently returned to the Bar.
As a barrister she practises in all areas of family law.
For the past 8 years she worked at Monash University as a Senior Lecturer (Practice) teaching the Family Law Assistance Program. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She has also been teaching in the Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) at the College of Law. She is currently teaching Advanced Issues in Property, Maintenance and Child Support.
Prior to her work as a Senior Lecturer, she was a barrister for approximately 18 years practising in the family law area. She has also undertaken intervention order work.
In addition, she has completed a Vocational Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution at Relationships Australia. She has also undertaken the Victorian Bar Mediation Course.
