Our List accepts applications from the twice yearly Victorian Bar Reader intake. In addition, we welcome expressions of interest at any time from existing interstate and local barristers.

Your practice will be supported by our highly experienced team of clerks and additional support staff. Our team will help you establish and maintain a busy practice throughout your career.

Reader Applications 

Applications from prospective Readers are to be made in accordance with the Victorian Bar Guidelines. Applications for the September 2023 Readers’ Course are now closed. 

Written applications (cover letter, curriculum vitae and written references) should be addressed to Paul Holmes and uploaded using the adjacent form. All applications will be responded to within 24 hours. Note, written references are not mandatory.
