Tyra accepts briefs in criminal, quasi-criminal and family law matters, including intervention orders, across all metropolitan and regional courts.

Before coming to the Bar, Tyra was Associate to His Honour Judge Trapnell in the Criminal Division of the County Court of Victoria. In this role, Tyra gained experience in a broad range of proceedings including jury trials, plea hearings, bail applications, de novo appeals and pre-trial hearings.

Tyra has also worked as Associate to a Judicial Registrar in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
