Stephanie accepts briefs in all areas of criminal law and quasi-criminal law in metropolitan and regional courts.

She is part of the 2024 VLA Trial Counsel Development Program.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Stephanie worked as a Solicitor at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service in the Criminal Law Practice. In this role she appeared daily in the Magistrates’ and County Courts for pleas of guilty, bail applications, breach proceedings, mentions, contest mentions and committal mentions. She has also appeared in Supreme Court Applications for Bail for both children and adults. In addition to her appearance work she maintained a large case load of summary and indictable matters across the state. Stephanie has significant experience appearing in Koori Court.

Stephanie began her career as a solicitor at the Office of Public Prosecutions. There she obtained extensive experience preparing and instructing in complex criminal trials including homicides, culpable driving, serious sexual offences, drug-related offences and serious assaults. She also has experience in proceedings under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015 with a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts.

Stephanie read with Jarrod Williams and her senior mentor is Peter Morrissey S.C.
