Pauline was admitted to practice in 1997. She holds degrees in Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and Criminology), Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws (Commercial Law).
Pauline has practised predominantly in family law, litigation and dispute resolution for over 20 years. She appears regularly in interim defended hearings and trials at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Her matters have included complex multi-million dollar property disputes involving third parties and overseas assets, intervention orders, difficult parenting cases and matters on behalf of Independent Children’s Lawyers.
In addition, Pauline is a Nationally Accredited Mediator under the Australian National Mediator Accreditation System and has regularly participated in mediations as Mediator and Counsel.
Pauline is also fluent in Chinese Mandarin, Hakka and Cantonese.
Prior to signing the Bar Roll, Pauline gained considerable experience in various areas of practice including family law, commercial law, litigation and dispute resolution. She often appeared as a solicitor advocate in the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court and other Victorian Courts and Tribunals.
Pauline is sensitive to the needs of both solicitors and clients. With her effective negotiation skills and background in Psychology, she aims to achieve the best possible and most practical outcome for her clients.
