Dan was admitted to practise in 1982 and was then called to the Bar in 1984.  He read with (the late) His Honour Judge Robert Kent. In his early years at the Bar Dan gained experience in many areas of the law including, Criminal Law and Family Law. He settled on Family Law as his area of expertise.

Dan is now considered one of the leading Senior Junior Family Law counsel. He features regularly in Doyles Guide for leading counsel in Australia.

Dan’s specialty areas of law are Family Law, and ADR. He is both an accredited Arbitrator and Mediator.
