Naomi practises in criminal law. Prior to joining the bar, she worked as a lawyer and senior lawyer, at the Sunshine and Melbourne offices of Victoria Legal Aid, where she gained over 16 years’ experience as a criminal advocate. In 2018, she was accredited as a criminal law specialist with the Law Institute of Victoria.

Naomi accepts briefs in all criminal and quasi criminal matters across all metropolitan and regional courts.

Her experience encompasses a broad range of summary and serious indictable criminal matters. As an advocate, she regularly appeared in the Magistrates’ Courts in pleas, bail applications, and breach proceedings. She has also appeared in the County Court for sentence appeals and pleas. She has extensive experience in Therapeutic Courts, including Drug Courts (Magistrates’ and County Court jurisdictions).
