Prior to coming to the bar, Jonathan worked exclusively in family law as a Senior Associate at Lander & Rogers in Melbourne and a leading London firm.
As a solicitor at those firms, Jonathan has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of parenting and property matters, including:
- Complex property disputes, including those involving complex property structures, jurisdictional issues, third parties, and spousal maintenance;
- Parenting disputes, including those involving young children and family violence;
- Financial agreements;
- Family Violence Intervention Orders;
- Enforcement and contravention applications; and
- Appeals, including special leave to the High Court of Australia.
Jonathan accepts briefs to appear in and advise on all matters relating to family law and related jurisdictions. He is currently reading with Daniel Sweeney and his senior mentor is Chris Nehmy SC.
