Jess has worked exclusively in family law since her admission in 2019.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Jess gained valuable experience across the family law sector, including as Associate to His Honour, Judge O’Shannessy of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2), and as a solicitor in both private practice and the public sector.

As a solicitor, Jess acted in a broad range of family law matters including:

  • Parenting disputes, including those involving family violence, young children and relocation matters;
  • Property disputes, including those involving complex property structures and spousal maintenance;
  • Financial agreements;
  • Child Support matters including international recovery;
  • Family Violence Intervention Orders;
  • Enforcement and contravention applications; and
  • Appeals.

Jess accepts briefs to appear in and advise on all matters relating to family law and related jurisdictions.  She is reading with Geoff Ambrose and her senior mentor is Helen Dellidis SC.

Jessica is currently undertaking the September 2026 Victorian Bar Readers’ Course. Upon successful completion, she will sign the Bar Roll on Thursday, 24 September 2026 and will be available to accept briefs starting Monday, 28 September.
