Harrison accepts briefs to appear in all areas of criminal law and family law. He has extensive experience in intervention order matters and welcomes briefs in this area.
Harrison appears regularly as both defence and prosecution counsel in summary and indictable matters. In the Magistrates’ Court, he is regularly briefed as defence counsel in contested hearings, including committal proceedings. He also appears regularly in the County Court on behalf of both defence and prosecution.
In his family law practice, Harrison has substantial experience appearing on behalf of both applicants and respondents in interim defended hearings, mediations, contravention applications and final hearings.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Harrison was Associate to her Honour Judge Ellis in the criminal division of the County Court of Victoria.
Harrison read with David Cronin and his senior mentor was his Honour Judge Hutton SC.
