I bring some 30 years’ experience to my practice in family law.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne in 1990, I was admitted to practice in 1992. I signed the Roll of Counsel in 2001.
Prior to being called to the Bar I practiced as a solicitor in Geelong for 9 years. During that time I served on the board of Crime Victim Services and volunteered at the Geelong Community Legal Service. I served as President of the Geelong Law Association in 2001.
Outside of work, I enjoy (in no particular order of preference or proficiency) surfing, cycling, home brewing, skiing, scuba diving, golf, travel, camping, swimming, classical music and bushwalking; and in recent times I have developed an interest in ornithology, much to my wife’s bemusement.
In response to mid-life crisis I have also taken up the bass guitar.
My favourite film is Planet of the Apes and I barrack for Richmond (Go Tigers!).
