Erin accepts briefs in all areas of criminal law.

Erin has extensive advocacy experience having regularly appeared in bail applications, committals, contested hearings, plea hearings and contested extraditions. 

Prior to coming to the Bar, Erin was a Senior Solicitor at the Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP).  She worked in the Trial, Appeals, and Policy and Specialised Legal divisions.  Erin has experience in a broad range of indictable crime including homicide, drug and historical sex offences.  During her time at the OPP, she assisted with the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants.

Erin also worked as a Senior Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP).  She prosecuted ASIC, taxation, social security, child exploitation material, large drug importation and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park offences. Whilst at the CDPP, Erin worked directly with the Deputy Director of the Illegal Imports and Exports and Human Exploitation and Border Protection branch.  In that role she regularly provided advice at a national level to internal and external stakeholders including the Attorney General’s Department, Australian Federal Police and the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission.

Erin read with Jason Gullaci SC and her senior mentor was Sally Flynn QC.
