Elle is an experienced advocate with a broad practice across public law, criminal law, quasi-criminal law and family law. She accepts briefs to advise and appear in all courts and tribunals. She came to the bar with significant experience as a solicitor across the commercial and public sectors.

Elle’s practice has a strong focus on criminal and quasi-criminal law, and her experience covers a broad range of Federal and State crime. She has particular experience in complex Federal prosecutions, including those concerning human exploitation and organised crime. Elle is regularly briefed to advise and appear, both led and unled, at all stages of criminal matters.

In the public law sphere, Elle routinely acts for State and Federal agencies in relation to sensitive matters concerning public interest immunity and suppression orders, and in complex post-sentence applications (including for persons convicted of terrorism and foreign incursions offences). 

Elle was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Pullin KC (now retired) of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, Court of Appeal. Elle began her career as a solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons in Melbourne, practising primarily in commercial litigation, before moving on to senior positions at the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and the Australian Government Solicitor.

Elle has a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
