Dermot was admitted to practice in 1992 working as a Solicitor at Galbally O’Bryan. He joined the Bar in 1995.

Since then he has specialised in Criminal Law appearing in Trials and Pleas in the County and Supreme Courts. 

Dermot also has a substantial Appellate practice and appears in the Court of Appeal on a regular basis.
