Alexander accepts briefs in criminal, quasi-criminal, and family law matters.
Before coming to the Bar, he was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Croucher at the Supreme Court of Victoria. Prior to that, he was a Legal Officer with Tasmania Police, where he regularly appeared in the Launceston Court of Petty Sessions in summary criminal matters.
He also worked at a small firm in Launceston appearing for clients in criminal, family, and civil law proceedings across the Magistrates’ Court of Tasmania, Supreme Court of Tasmania, and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of Tasmania.
