Ian has practised in a variety of areas as a trial advocate. He has particular expertise in criminal trials. He has experience, outside the law, in engineering gained from employment in various heavy construction projects and oil drilling both in Australia and overseas. Ian has been briefed to appear in the Supreme Court, County Court, Federal Court, Equal Opportunity Tribunal, Liquor Control Commission, Coroner's Court and VCAT.
