Timothy has a wide area of practice in commercial law,family law and de facto property disputes. He has nearly twenty years experience as as an advocate and has appeared as leading counsel in many complex trials.
He commenced practice as barrister in Queensland and was appointed Senior Counsel in Queensland in December 1999.
He appears regularly in the Federal Court, the Family Court and the Supreme Court of Queensland. He conducts appeals in each of these jurisdictions and in the Court of Australia.
Mr North was admitted to practice in Victoria in 2000 and has recently established chambers in Melbourne in Chancery Chambers while maintaining his Brisbane practice.
