Since coming to the Bar, Michael has built a successful employment law and commercial law practice.
Michael has appeared in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission in numerous unfair dismissal hearings and industrial disputes. He has also appeared in the Federal Court, Federal Magistrates Court and Magistrates’ Court in matters numerous employment matters involving breach of contract, breach of Award, breach of Certified Agreements, and breach of the Workplace Relations Act 1996.
Michael has also appeared in Supreme Court, County Court and Magistrates Court matters involving commercial disputes, debt recovery actions, credit matters, partnership and contractual disputes.
Michael has also appeared in personal bankruptcy and corporate insolvency matters in both the Supreme Court and Federal Court
Michael has also appeared in tribunals such as VCAT in the Retail Leasing, Domestic Building, Credit and Equal Opportunity Lists. Michael has also advised numerous businesses and directors in commercial and employment law disputes.
Michael is also accredited nationally as a mediator and accredited by the Victorian Bar as an advanced mediator.

Prior to him coming to the bar, Michael had 6 years experience as a solicitor, working during that time at Gadens Lawyers and Deacons Lawyers.
