Since his admission in 1992, Ashley has practiced exclusively in the area of crime. In addition to his experience in all summary and indictable matters both in the Magistrates’ and County Courts, Ashley has also appeared in VOCAT, VCAT and the ACC. He also defends matters of a regulatory/quasi criminal nature. He has spent some time in the United States assisting defendants on death row. He brings to his work the insights, drive and compassion fuelled by his experience abroad.
